NFX UK is a pioneering initiative aimed at accelerating the commercialisation of novel food technologies in the UK. Backed by Innovate UK and led by RSSL in collaboration with Imperial College London and The Supplant Company, the network brings together scientific, regulatory, and industry experts to support innovation through informed, streamlined approval processes.
At its core, NFX UK is designed to connect food innovators with the expertise they need to navigate regulatory challenges, promote best practices, and foster cross-sector collaboration. The brand’s vision is to position the UK as a global leader in sustainable, science-driven food innovation.
This conceptual work explores how the identity and platform can support that mission—creating a space that empowers breakthrough thinking in nutrition, sustainability, and food security.
Creating a subtle yet sophisticated logo type which reflects connectivity and a central hub through expanding characteristics of the character forms where aspects connects.
The brands visual identity is made up of different assets. A grid structure which is expanding and morphing portraying an ever expanding knowledge, whilst the grid lines representing connectivity. The grid gives of a safe and trustworthy structure. The brand also uses characters within the logo type as patterns and graphic assets. It can be used at scale to show the expanding element.
